2012 Chevrolet Corvette

The Corvette is an iconic American sports car that offers supercar styling and entertaining performance at a bargain price. In fact the Corvette has been known to compete neck and neck in terms of performance with exotic European sports cars costing up to four times its price. The two-seater rear wheel drive Corvette is available either in coupe or convertible body style. Even the standard Corvette packs a punch with a powerful 430bhp, 6.2-litre V8 engine mated to a six-speed, short throw manual gearbox, with launch control. A six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is optional.
While the Corvette has faced criticism in the past for its handling, the 2010 model features a host of improvements aimed to make the Corvette a nimble yet surefooted performer. A magnetic ride control suspension is available as an option and is claimed to improve ride with its multiple settings.
The Z06 boasts a 7.0-litre V8 engine with 505bhp, a six-speed manual gearbox and a performance-enhancing equipment package. The range topping ZR1 houses a mighty supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine with 677bhp of power at its disposal. It also comes with lots of kit included in the ZR1 performance package such as magnetic ride control, larger Brembo brakes and sport tyres.
Standard equipment on the Chevrolet Corvette includes xenon headlamps, sound system, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry with push-button starter, leather seats, power driver’s seat, cruise control, and 18-inch front and 19-inch rear alloy wheels. Chevrolet Cruze sedan facelift revealed in Busan

The initial images and video of the Chevrolet Cruze facelift have been posted on the internet following the vehicle's launch at the Busan Auto Show. For the Cruze range, the facelift operation was executed first on the wagon that premiered at the Geneva Motor Show this year. We now see the new face featured on the hatch and sedan body styles as well.

The Cruze's facelift features horizontal front slabs that replaces the mesh type grille. Designers have redesigned the lower air intakes and peeled-back the fog light enclosures.

Subtle changes have been made to the car's rear that is reminiscent of the outgoing model. The mildly transformed Cruze sits on new 17-inch alloy wheels. Surprisingly Chevrolet has not infused the lights with LED strips or added an extra dash of chrome that's almost a norm for a cosmetic makeover.

The interiors are similar to the current model featuring a cockpit that was designed to provide the feel of driving a sports car. It is adorned with blue background lighting.
Through the new Cruze, Chevrolet is introducing a new 1.7-liter diesel engine for its European customers. Here in the Middle East, the company is expected to continue selling the Cruze sedan with the 1.6- and 1.8-liter petrol motors, paired to 5 and 6-speed automatic transmissions

2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS | Speed in a hatch

Chevy have managed to squeeze in 138 horses into a 5-door hatch and they call it the 2013 Sonic RS. It will make it’s public debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show and will go on sale in late 2012. The RS comes painted in either Victory Red, Summit White, Cyber Gray Metallic or Black Granite Metallic. Expect zippy performance from the Ecotec 1.4L turbo engine that puts 200Nm to the front wheels. It’s matched with a 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic. Chevrolet Sonic RS exterior features include a new front and rear fascia with new fog lamp design, RS-specific grille, a rear spoiler, rocker moldings, unique mirror cap finish, retuned sport exhaust with chrome tips, 17” 5-spoke wheel design, stiffer and lower suspension and dampers and ofcourse a plethora of RS badges.
